Mass file renamer?
 
Anyone use any software that mass renames files like report.doc to report_finished.doc in a diretory?

Give A.F.5 Rename your files 1.1 a try. Search for it on downloads.com. It's freeware as well. :thumbsup

yeah I use RenameIT do a search on google and you should find it. I think its freeware if IRCC its a good program.

http://webmastersguide.com/ click the drop down menu its under downloads>Desktop Utilities. once you download it drag it to your desk top and your good to go.

The cool thing about that ReNamer (which I wrote) is that
it can do random renaming. If you want to mix up a photoset
in a random order or something this is the tool for the job.
Not that I know WHY some webmasters do that, it doesn't make sense to me.

I have tried alot of renamers and currently use
FlexRenamer - For renaming folders (free)
