Anyone from Phoenix Forum here
I just noticed cutoff date for free registration. This is mt 1st show so I didnt know registration was needed and $250 is quite steep . I think its the most expensive in the world. SHit AVN is only $150. I was planning on bringing couple girls. ANyway to get registered
|
That sucks big baller, but I'm sure there are a couple people with some free passes I think I saw them around here. And yeah $250 is ridiculous.
|
Ill trade some content for passes anyone.
|
$250 eh? wow that high considering how many free passes were given out
|
island gathering was a lot more than that
|
Amacontent, just so you know?
The point of the post-free registration fee is to help cover the costs of an additional registrant. We had a finite number of attendees that we arranged to accommodate with the sponsorship budget and had to cutoff the registration once we reached that number?we have nearly 700 registered. If you get hold of some tickets and have any questions about hotels, places to eat and the like, feel free to reach me |

Joe, we certainly don?t want you to be at the forum with a bad taste in your mouth.
Please understand that our sponsors were very generous with regard to the attendees and I am sure that $250 would be well spent to attend the forum. We made many announcements regarding the free registration for the forum during the 4-5 weeks that it was available, and when we felt that the event was close to capacity, we had no choice but to cut off the registrations. To answer your question, it is my understanding that you need a registration badge to attend the forum events; however, I am sure that you won?t get kicked out of the resorts pool area if you would like to be close to the poolside events. |
Maybe I am thinking of somebody else but aren't you the guy who has been traveling all over the world shooting content in places like Czech and so forth? If you can afford to do those things then $250 should not be a problem for you.
I say they let your girls in for half price and charge you the full fee. XoXoXo VL Quote:

As one of the show's main sponsors, it bothers me that the registration can't be free for everyone. Next year I think that there should be a limit (maybe 3?) of how many people can register for free from a single company.
It doesn't seem fair that some companies send 4 or more people for free, when there is not enough room for everyone. If that company thinks Phoenix Forum is valuable enough for that much attention from their sales staff, maybe they should look into a sponsorship themselves? Just my 2 cents. Steve Lightspeed |

I just did not understand your comment that "This is mt 1st show so I didnt know registration was needed. . . " As I recall, WAW and Internext both required registration. |

We have taken the sponsorship dollars and divided that against how many people that we had expected to attend and made all the financial commitments up front to reserve the entire resort for the event. Be aware that The Phoenix Forum is not a for-profit tradeshow. The three day event is funded 100% by these sponsorship dollars. There is no revenue generated by the show for anyone involved, including CCBill as the host company That said, as a business person yourself I?m sure that you can understand, we simply could not support the event financially if it were left open indefinitely for free registrants. |
