Why do you need a credit card exactly to make an account there

You don't need it. At least they didn't ask for my CC when I signed up.

I thought you needed it to verify you are who you say you are. I had to prove I got the CC statement online to sign up.

I loved it when i had to be "verified" on Paypal

"sign up a CC, register a bank account, we'll deposit 2 small amounts in 2-3 business days, check your statment via phone or mail to see what those are, THEN go piss in a cup, run around the block naked twice, and give us a week!"

lol. yeah paypal was hell for me to set up. so much bullshit involved.

There are two ways to set up a personal ePassporte account --
1. Sign up to send traffic to a sponsor that pays via ePassporte, such as FlashCash, ARS, CE, Gamma, Platinumbucks, ConversionCash, etc. In this situation your sponsor will create the account for you when they pay you and voila! you have an eP account to use.

2. To get a personal account without signing up to a sponsor, you have to sign up for the account, fund it and pay the fees. In this case you must use a credit card to fund with at the current time.

Business accounts are not funded via credit card, they are funded via wire transfer to ePassporte, so there is no credit card needed there either.

Please keep in mind that the Patriot Act and Visa's Know Your Customer rules are what drive the verification process, we have little control over either of those and must comply with what they require of us.

Patriot act? that's a first I've ever heard someone use that one.

You guys are pretty much adult processing only, I mean obviously you'l let people use the system for other stuff, but your base is adult processing right? So then tell me how your biz is affected by the Patriot Act or point me to where you explained it please.

Go to your ARS4REAL account,then click ADMIN and FUNDS DISTRIBUTION click Request EP....then every thing is done.
They set up a e passporte for you :)

All financial services companies are affected by the Patriot Act if they do business in the US, including banks, brokerages, card issuing companies, etc.

Under the Patriot Act, any transaction over $1,000 must be reported to the government. At least that's how it works with western union and money orders. If you send $1,000 western union the agent will ask for your drivers license, SSN, everything. Money orders they'd have to fill out a form with all that and mail it to uncle sam.

And for the record, if you recieve a payment from a sponsor for over $1,000, the government has a record of you promoting whatever you were promoting. THAT's what the patriot act is all about.

Yeah I knew about the $1000 transactions but I thought there was something more they were talking about.

The Patriot Act enables the US government to keep track of nearly anything they want to if your company does any business in the US.

Under the guise of protecting us all from terrorism there is more big brother shit going on today than when Joe McCarthy was alive and in office.

The only other one I use is e-gold. Got money in panama, malta and my debit card is from a bank in the UK. No patriot act there :2 cents:

KK, can I ask FlashCash to set up an ePassPorte account for me, instead of sending me checks, on an existing account? Or would I have to sign up for a new account with them?

I need an ePassPorte, and the CC verification is not going thru on my credit card (it did for PayPal, but so far, twice with no luck on epassporte). So the sponsor creation option looks to be the way to go for me.

Yep, you used to be able to get a safe deposit box without having to have another account at banks, but not anymore. Thanks Ashcorft and Bush!
