My first gallery try
 

hey everyone, decided to make a gallery. This is my first try ever. I'm going by the theory of "less is more".

Get rid of that text up top and place the banner lower on the page

Not bad but you probably will have better luck with that style promoting amateur sites.

Thumbs are hazy, layout isn't drawing their eye to anywhere specific and content looks like cheap ol' magazine scans instead of Playboy material. Start there.

get rid of the empty box's apart from that not bad at all for a begginer get it submitted and see how it does.

The layout doesn't seem quite right...text is good but they will bypass the banner sitting up top .I suggest splitting up the pics and placeing a text description in the middle and the banner on the bottom

you gonna get your ass to court with that domain

The images you are using are terribly heavy....
140 kb is a little expensive on your bw bill.
You might want to aim at like 50 kb.

Head your ass over to other webmaterboards like newbiewebmasters or cozy frog and read all about it there.

Oh and that big pic in the middle is what is being called a "blind link'"
You will get rejected at a majority of tgp's for that.

the boxes are kind of annoying , as is the blind link.

I think some of the good gallery designers here could help you start making quality ones
