Warren Sapp is a Raider!

Hell yeah, I've always been a fan of this guy, he belongs in the Silver & Black! Fucking Bengals fans actually thought he would choose them.

Yeah they better be, now if we can pull the trade off for Corey Dillon and make a good pick with the #2 in the draft, things look alright.

:glugglug , was just about to start a thread..not too long ago was talking to a fellow raider and was like sapp should be a raider it takes a unique player to fully be a raider and he's one..haha yeah dillon would be a good fit, since charlie jumped ship

LA Mike 03-20-2004 07:30 PM

Another knuckle head to the raiders... lol

Still a huge talent though

foolio 03-20-2004 08:10 PM

so many years -- is;nt he like old now? Does he still have 7 years left in him?

Sharky 03-20-2004 08:13 PM

Good Buy and Good Riddance Sapp!

Last year you were a cancer on the Bucs!

Axeman 03-20-2004 08:32 PM

sickkittens 03-20-2004 08:35 PM

Vitasoy 03-20-2004 08:41 PM

Damn what a surprise...

JUSTB 03-20-2004 09:37 PM

I think, this is coming from the majority of Tampa residents....................
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!

tungsten 03-20-2004 09:39 PM

wonderful news! Thanks for the update :)

Sharky 03-20-2004 09:45 PM

As Sapp's Game deteriorated, His attitude on the field increased. It got to be an embarassment!

Good luck Raiders.

LittleMack 03-20-2004 09:53 PM

holy fuck, live in Tampa, I figured he would be gone this year with the way this off season has been going. He has been pretty unproductive for two years for the Bucs. Hope Gruden has a plan up his sleeve. I am from Pittsburgh originally and have gone through this in the past.

maxdaname 03-20-2004 10:51 PM

GO PACKERS GO!!:321GFY

Joesho 03-20-2004 10:55 PM

good time for a little Gruden Payback!

Ic3m4nZ 03-20-2004 10:58 PM

Good for Oakland a 7 years contract but they still won't win the Super Bowl :thumbsup

Rob 03-20-2004 11:00 PM

HAHAHAHAHA!!!! As a Tampa Fan and Native, you're welcome! This was Gruden's way of putting the screws to Davis one last time! Give it time and you'll understand why! :1orglaugh :1orglaugh :1orglaugh :1orglaugh

I don't see where you guys think he can't play or that he's over the hill. The last couple of years you think he didn't have great seasons just because he didn't have a lot of sacks. Well the Tampa defense didn't have a ton of sacks, they were a speed defense that worked on schemes and he was a huge part of it. He plugged up the middle and forced the passer into rushing his decisions so that those linebackers and secondary could make the big plays. He's important in that way with or without the big numbers.

But then again the Raiders seem to be a place where guys go and get revitalized and pull a couple big years out of their ass that no one had left in them. Virtually every player that goes to the Raiders is surprised by the intensity of the fans and the mystique of the Silver and Black. I bet he gets in a little better shape and gets a little extra mean for this year and then we'll see what happens.
