Mike From Madthumbs Is Stuck In Mexico!!
 

Now this is about the funniest story I have heard this year!

I just got off the phone with my partner Cameron from GTS and it seems Mike from Madthumbs is STUCK in Mexico. Mike went on a huge binge over the past 3 days and ran up a 20k bar tab at a club in Cancun. (trust me for Mike this is a very doable thing). Supposedly JLo was in the same club and Mike was trying to keep up with her crew.

Anyways he didn't have enough on his Visa Check Card to cover the charges so the bar in question seized his passport and drivers license until he could pay the tab. Needless to say he can't get back to the States without his passport or drivers license and he has already missed his flight.

Cameron just drove down to Western Union to send Mike some money to clear up his bar tab and get his passport back. LOL!

Correct me if i'm wrong but doesn't it go by date? I know like a 1996 bottle is anywhere from 135-200.

The only time Ive ever had to pay for it was at a private party. Ended up getting it for about 175, per bottle (we didnt have time to preorder). After all the bullshit and taxes and delivery charge it was close to 200 a pop.

I would have made him wash dishes for a day! NO really, I know how totally awesome Cameron is, Mike is lucky he had him around to help out! Best of luck to Mike getting home! :)

Nope. The hotel gave him an extra room for 1 night. Maybe it had something to do with how much he spent there already this week. He's at western union now getting the money.

$20K - run for the border. he's an american citizen, he must still have SOME ID, that's all it'll take to get back into the USA.- and just claim that he lost his passport and they'll reissue another one for a LOT less than $20K.

there's only about 3-4 places worth going to in mexico - no biggy to take mexico off one's travel list for life.
