Damn thats actually a tough question. I've grown up with the simpsons but now I find myself smoking a bowl and laughing my ass off everynight at 11 for family guy :thumbsup

i was hoping such a debate woul never arise:helpme

both make my top 5 list. ultimately i would have to pick family guy over simpsons :thumbsup

The Family Guy, hands down. Anyone that's ever been to Rhode Island will understand.

Simpsons all the way! That show still makes me laugh my ass off.

Who knew that a baby with a football-shaped head bent on world domination, a talking dog and the rest of the quirky Griffin family would be a winning formula for a prime time cartoon? Apparently, Seth MacFarlane, the show's creator and executive producer did, and somewhere between the show's debut in 1999, its cancellation in 2002 and its incredible DVD sales in 2003, he convinced America it was, too. The Griffin family will be back on Fox network by January 2005, marking the first time a show will be revived based on its DVD sales.


That is one funny ass show, but it is hard to choose between that and the Simpsons.

Neither I actually prefer Futurama. And I always wonder why its cancelled since it was better than the other two shows

I watch them both passively, so they both are pretty much the same.

Family guy is funnier though, some of it has me cracking up laughing

Simpsons is a classic. The Family Guy is a hit or miss, sometimes very funny show but inconsistent. It is also highly derivative of the Simpsons at times.

lois is fucking hot!!

Family Guy!! I laugh out loud at that show 10x more than I ever did with the Simpsons. :thumbsup

Family Guy is way more hillarious, but Simpsons is better storylines
