Actor Paul Reubens, who won fame as children's television star "Pee-wee Herman," pleaded guilty on Friday to a misdemeanor charge of possessing obscene material and was sentenced to three years of informal probation that requires him to stay away from children.

he didnt get charged with child porn, and you know damn well, if HE HAD CP, he would be in jail for a long time.

cherubs are not cp, but now they are obscene? Supposedly, they were very expensive paintings, or something not sure. Its not files or anything... thats why they dropped it.

Reubens, who did not appear in Los Angeles Superior Court, said in a statement that he was pleased to have avoided "a circus-like trial" and was "disappointed any part of my art collection was ever deemed inappropriate."

"These are certainly troubling times when our Attorney General Ashhahahahaha has actually ordered the semi-nude statue of the Spirit of Justice to be covered with drapes," Reubens said.

"Taking responsibility by calling a few images in this collection 'obscene' and paying a $100 fine seemed like the sanest way to make it end," he added.

i love how they always say was a child entertainer. Pee Wee Herman started out as a raunchy character for adults and tv turned it into a kids show and then gave him a hard time when he turned out to be an adult.
