Weird Photoshop Error - Anyone?
I am trying to open a logo for a client. The client gave me two logos, one opens fine, one does not.
The PSD only weighs 730k, but everytime I go to open it, it gives me an error saying "not enough ram." and does not open the file. I have attempted to open it up on more than one machine. Any fucking clue? I have never had this happen, what does this damn thing mean not enough ram? hahah to open a 730k file? |
Will it open with illustrator?

possibly something to do with the scratch disk being beaten senseless... try adding a 2nd scratch disk location in the edit/preferences.

That is quite odd, Is it text laden that you know of? Or mostly just graphical? If it's all text and it is using dozens of missing fonts I can see it actualy running out of memory because each character has to be stored as an image in memory on missong fonts.
If it has nothing to do with fonts, then I seriously don't know. |
Try reloading!

it opens in image ready, I just resaved it, everything is fine now. no clue, that was a sucky, error. saving it again fixed it, no clue. |

it is missing all fonts, as I dont have the font this logo is in. |
if your ps is not fucked up completely than maybe it is a compressed pic.
even a 20KByte compressed pic could have when you uncompressed it. is it a tif ? |
