I hate it when this happens - and it happens every day

Often I leave the computer with ICQ on either invisible or online, and when I come back ICQ is prompting me to type in password and relogin...Which means that any messages sent to me while I was away are gone forever since my ICQ doesn't log the chat history.

It happens anywhere from 2 to 20 times a week, and it isn't a problem with my line. Maybe I should finally look into Trillian.

If any ICQ contacts of mine read this post, I hope you gather from this that you are perfectly welcome to resend messages if I haven't answered them.

I've never had this problem in 6 years of using icq

This only happens when your connection fucks up or if someone else logs in with your icq #.

What i hate it whenever I shutdown MSN messanger and then I go and play a movie in Windows Media Player every 15 minuts it keeps on trying to log me into MSN Messanger and its so annoying and there is no way to disable it. I just have to keep MSN messanger running.

If 1. is true, MSN would ask me to relogin too, but it doesn't. I doubt 2. is true, seeing as I have a long and nonsensible password which only exists in my head and ICQs database. Besides, no one would have any interest in logging into my ICQ account several times a week.

I forgot to mention that it also sometimes happens when I am around, and my connection is still firm.

Something like that happened to me, I signed on and a message came from someone not on my ICQ list, and it wouldn't let me accept it, so I never got the message!

Happens all the time, mate. I have turned off all the anti-spam shit in my ICQ preferences, and I still can not receive messages I want to receive sometimes. It just notifies me that it blocked a message. Fucker.
