Ex Paysite Owners
So, you thought you had some great traffic and made a nice amount promoting sponsors. You decided you were tired of sending all your members to make someone else rich and wanted to keep more for yourself and setup a nice recurring income. It didn't work out the way you thought.
What happened ? |
I realized that doing anything except for promoting clickcash, where I don't have to worry about charge backs or what to charge for membership, but still make $40 per free signup, is not a good idea.
Jesus Christ. Why did it take me so long to realize? :thumbsup |
I give out free blowjobs

My guess would be that it's quite hard to recruit webmasters to a partnership program.

I did paysites a while back. I never pushed my sites really hard, just enough to take care of the bills and life issues. I pulled out right before the billing shit started because I wanted to move on to other things and didn't know what was going to happen. IBill had fucked me and fucked me so many times that it was no longer worth the time and trouble especially if Visa and MasterCard where going to make things even harder.
Things didn't end up half as bad as some people includeing myself had thought. It seems like now would not be a bad time to get into it. |
actually it worked out very well, then those fucking lieing sacks of shit at acpay and globill got involved.
|
it worked out fine, but i had to let it go due to personal issues.
i never promoted any other sponsors though.....there was no need to. i might be getting back into it soon enough :winkwink: |

Oops wrong answer. |
I did some BizDev/Managing for a start-up. They were working out okay for a while, but I got sick of the shit.
Shit from brokers. Shit from models (because, in theory, it is SO much easier to shoot your own. Shit from hosts/servers. Shit from ambitious kids who want to set the world on fire. It isn't worth the shit unless you really want it. I didn't. |
