Like bdld pointed out, you are an idiot. Besides being an idiot you didn't explain what a dialer is correctly. "redirected"? The word "dial" should clue you in as to what it does.

it's $/per minute. It's akin to selling swamp land. You cheated
the user and created a large phone bill for them when that

Dialers charge like $5 per minute for the surfer and pay the webmaster about $0.05 per minute. Or even just pay the webmaster $.25 for every dialer downloaded

Dialer agents are worse than the dialer pushers. Dialers seem to attract the worst in this business.

We pay shit loads more than some comps, Switzerland 0.90 USD, Norway 0.30 USD, Denmark 0.30 USD, United Kingdom 1.10 USD, Austria 1.00 USD.

Thats what we pay the webmaster, you don't even need content..

I kind of agree with this. I don't think many people like the thought of paying per minute. What if thier modem is slower? Then they have to pay more to look at just as much porn as a guy with high speed.

Actually that's incorrect. Current dialer regulations clearly post the rate the user is connected at and the time they have been connected for, these are regulations set down by the International monitoring committee and MOST dialers adhere to this, if they don't they're fined.

I'd be very interested in just how you're getting away with paying out $1.00 AU, is this per call?

On the per minute, your UK is low, we start at $1.41 per minute and pay higher depending on volume

dialers are definately not what they used to be.

This is not news to me. Of course it's mandatory to display rates according
to laws, this has been on since almost the beginning (after many people where cheated).

The thing is dialer pushers , the smart ones, jam that *.exe on you in a few very
inventive ways. It's all smoke and mirrors and stating what the laws are doesn't
reflect what the community does.

It's against the law to kill ppl yet ppl still get murdered. A statute doesn't stop
criminals and dishonesty.

If you can't resolve their IP (dialerxp.com) and the domain reg info
shows you they are a sub-agent of dialer2003.com and that domain
neither resolves nor loads in a browser and you add to the fact that
you can't find one bit of info on Dialer2003 Ltd then one would have
to conclude that someone is going to a lot of trouble to hide.

If you hide that hard and are suppose to send checks then your probably
putting a down payment on a Mexican escape condo as we speak.

...and when they are actively participating in a thread and you accuse them
of dishonesty and they don't defend themselves then you probably hit the
nail on the head.

I dont use dialers or popups on my sites, it helps me see a hell of a lot more recurring visitors. applications popping up with pop up traps everywhere puts them off

If you think dialers are no good, then I would have to say that is only because you have never made money with them. Webmasters are too quick to label things as "no good" or "crap" and its only because they haven't learned how to make it work.

Some of the best clients we have ever had are dialer clients. They are loyal, easy going, and are a joy to work with. Why do you think that is? It's because they are getting paid, and dont have to blame other people when things go wrong.

Dialers work well.

You just need to learn how to market them. If webmasters that complain all the time would take more time to learn how to sell things, and spend less time complaining about how the products suck they would all be rich.

I've had DSL for about 4 years now so I haven't worried about dialers. What's this about dialers that work with DSL? Is there some sort of user interaction required to fund one (like voluntarily submitting billing info)? I can't imagine being able to bill otherwise if it is downloaded by getting a surfer to click an OK button or is "sneaked" onto a PC.

Dialer works good if you know to send your traffic to the right source
