If you're doing it just to be cool, then I suggest that you forget the idea.

i had a tongue piercing one year ago and I took it off.

in the beggining i thought it was very cool, but after 1 year it started hurting myself and it didnt make any difference to my life having that piercing at my tongue.

and the Hygiene must be very good, and if you take off your piercing and the hole closes with food inside you will have major problems.

if I could give advices, dont do tongue piercing

I have tongue piercing...its been there for 6 years or so already, i dont even notice it. Right now i wouldnt get one anymore but since its already there and it doesnt bother me i just let it be :)

same here, i dont even notice mine anymore, havent noticed it for like 5 years now, one of my fave piercings is my tongue

why dont you get rid of it as you can have cancer in the major ?
