What's the practical difference between Photoshop and Photoshop Elements?

My new digital camera came bundled with Photoshop Elements 2.0... how does this differ from its big brother?

I don't do anything too graphically complex, mainly just crop photos, do simple logos, pretty corners etc. No fancy multi-layer heavily brushed tour pages or anything like that.

Just curious. :thumbsup

PS elements is probably all you need then. It is just a stripped down version of photoshop.

PS basicly has a lot more tools, filters, and effects built in. It also comes with image ready and ties into all the other adobe products really nice.
Ex: you can have pieces of a project open in photoshop and have it linked to an illustrator or premier file. Then when ever you change your photoshop pieces, all your other linked docs automaticly update.
