Aaron was preparing for some drama tonight that had nothing to do with you.

You jumped the gun (yet again) and assumed he was going to go after you. I have no idea why. He washed his hands of you and the situation already.

You decided to take it upon yourself to come out, guns'a blazing first... I bet you were thinking "if he's gonna do it, let's do it!" kind of thing and came out big.

But.... it wasn't about you. And perhaps.. at some point, that fact dawned on you. But, it would be kind of emberassing to admit that, wouldn't it? I mean, it would be a bit of huge mistake if all of this was for nothing... right?

So instead of backing away, instead of shutting it down... you decided to make it about you... to make it even bigger. To draw any possible attention away from your massive screw up.

All of this... over nothing. Your best friend is now potentially the one that you could lose your job over.... because you jumped the gun. Because you thought that the only person Aaron could think about was you.... and you were wrong.
