RAM dumping programs: Mythical beast?
typically, I run a lot of graphic programs at once, usually 5 or 6 browser instances (on average), DWMX, Outlook, file explorer, and various whatevers in the system tray..... and after a couple hours the system is clogged and crawling.
Over the years I think I've tried a dozen different RAM dumping programs, and all they have ever accomplished is locking up the system. The only way to clean it out and get back to full speed is a freaking reboot. Has anyone ever come across a ram dump program that actually works? Or does it just not exist? and yes, my ram capacity is maxed out. (new machine) |
I haven't played with any for a while, but I used to have to run RAMBooster from time to time to clear out my old machine. I think you can find it free at download.com.
If you've already tried it, cool. It's probably not the best, but it's the only one I ever had any luck with. |
