for the modchip, I recommoend one of 2 modchips

MAGIC 3: http://www.modchip.ca/products/ps2/magic3.php
MESSIAH 2: http://www.modchip.ca/products/ps2/messiah2.php

they both boot ALL games (PS1, PS2, DVDR) with single boot
no nasty tricks

what you gotta do is open up your ps2 and solder them (there is NO no-solder modchip available to my knowlege)

I would highly recommend you pay a professional to do this

for the games, some are in CDr format, some are in DVDr format
you can just rent them and copy them with clonecd or something

you can also go on MIRC and find DVD-Rips of games (DVD games that fit into CD-Rs because they take out some clips, songs, etc)

super nintendo got slowdowns and not all stuff works, but sega works flawless for me :)

there's a guy down here that sells dvds with 200 or so snes games on them for 10$ ( for xbox/ps2 emulators)
