Unless you're talking of typein domains (which this is not the case) or yahoo listed domains with lots of visits (same here), you can get a lot more hits with just 1k and a decent domain, why pay 1770? And there were some really good domains posted in this board last 3 months, this is one I'd pay the registration costs, maybe I'd throw up $25 just because I'm feeling good :)

It does seem like a high price for the domain.

I think people are starting to go a little with these name drop sites. I've seen shit 3 character .net and .org go for $500-$600 and yet you can pick them up on some the domain industry boards for under $100.

But good luck with the name anyway.
