Another shark attack

over on Kaua'i.... guy put a beat down on this one and got lucky...

(Lihu'e, Kaua'i) --A shark attacked a surfer along Kauai's north shore. The incident happened around 7:45 Tuesday morning at Kalihiwai Beach. The surfer, 51 year old Bruch Orth, caught a few waves before the unexpected attack.

"Sitting on my board, waiting for the next set and out of nowhere a shark comes up and from a couple of feet and he came so fast and he lunged to the front of the board and just chomped on the rail. I gave him a couple of whacks on the nose and once I got him off my board he basically dove back under and we waited from him to come up again. I yelled at my buddies 'shark, shark.'

While sharks tend to be very erratic, some studies link "seal looking" images created by humans on surfboards may trigger attacks.

I once read that most attacks happen in the afternoon (around 4) in water depths of 3-5 feet

which is why it's recommended not to wear an all black or prodominently black wetsuit (if its wetsuit weather where you happen to be surfing that is)

no way.... definately the shark would win. The jetpack is machinery so it can be fixed and/or replaced as necessary, but the croc has actual wings, so one good bite from the shark.... rips croccies wings off and he's fucked. Plus, let's not forget the shark has way more efficient jaws for killing than the croc..... sharks are the perfect killing machines. :glugglug
