Hey, just wondering what you guys think this type of computer would be worth with the following specs... also, by the specs, you think its fast?

My brother is thinking about buying that system from a pc store here where we live... they retail it for $2800. is that a good price and is it a good deal? I told him to build his own PC for half that cost but he is a stubborn mo-fo.

Oh it comes with a 17" monitor and i think 200-watt speakers too

Way too fast.....a lot more than you need....the 1gb of ram is good, but you'd do find with a 2ghz cpu

Depends on what you're using it for, if it's just for surfing, email etc. You can even get by with a 1ghz system.

Paying for top of the line technology just means you end up paying more for obsolesence

especially CORSAIR ram and that fucking incredible top of the mother fucking line graphic card
