Dedicated, Colo, Virtual, what do YOU want, read inside.

Hello,

First post here so I wont take up much of your time. I was wondering, what kinds of hosting deals YOU would want to see, in virtual, dedicated and colo.

I have a datacenter, and already do dedicated and virtual and colo in it, but am looking to get into the adult part of hosting.

What kinds of deals would you guys like to have?

What deals do you see that makes you choose a host?

We arent a "virtual hosting company" , we actually have the bandwidth comming from dual fiber pipes,

Heres what we do have right now:

24/7 Access to facility with Keypunch and Key FOB Access

Multiple Security Cameras with 24hr Monitoring

UPS Backup Services Available

110 Volt AC or Optional Dual -48 V DC Power Available in 5 AMP Increments

Fully integrated OC-192 scalable Sonet network providing DS0, ISDN, PRI, T1, and T3 services

Take a look at this page, tell me what deals YOU want to see, we want to make some ripples in this business, and we'd like to offer you dedicated hosting at some webhosting companies virtual prices.

Let me know guys, Id really like to talk and answer anyones questions or opinions.

We have the racks, the servers, the connection, tell us how to make hosting deals better then others.

BTW, Mike one of my salespeople made alot of good deals with some of you at Internext, we'd like to make more so let me know what you want for hosting.

Hmm... is this supposed to be a good deal?

I get two P4 2.4GHz/512Mb/60Gb servers with 500Gb transfer each (1000Gb total) for $400/mo, and even that's probably a bit pricey these days.

Another company I am a client of charges $79/mo (seventy nine dollars) for a single server with 1000Gb of transfer.

Tier2_Randy 03-16-2004 08:34 PM

Well now that is nice, I know they arent making money from it.

www.reliableservers.net (looks like the monthly is 600Gb now)

www.servermatrix.com

Server Matrix are a bit like rackshack, except they offer managed servers. I don't think at that price it would compare to other hosts though. I manage my own servers so this isn't an issue for me. :)

thanks, I would just use them as a backup and if not needed to burn some bandwidth with galleries

PbG 03-16-2004 09:47 PM

Those $79 servers are semi managed not managed! They charge $100-300.00 more per month for managed.
