ATLANTA (Dow Jones)--InterCept Inc. (NasdaqNM:ICPT - News) late Monday said the management-led group that agreed to buy the company's merchant-services division revised its offer to exclude the division's iBill assets.

In a press release, InterCept said it has been in talks to sell the iBill assets to another party, and that it now expects the total sales price of the merchants division to exceed the $37.4 million the management group was offering.

Well, it seems like this management team has had problems. They really don't understand the market which has made IBILL so successful. Furthermore, selling IBILL to them would have been a great mistake.

IBILL was a great place to work at one time. But those days are long gone.
