using pics in design
 

hey. i am designing a few sites and have got a picture of a girl that i wanna use in the design. whats the deal with using a pic off the net. do i have to ask the owner permission or buy the pic off them or can i just use it in the design and not worry? you can't see the girls face but i just dont wont to get the site up and someone go mad at me for using their picture.

In adult , we have these shops called content providers .
look into them ,

Dont just steal pics , itll come up in a thread on this very board , I am sure .

If it's the girl you know and you are the photograph you mostly have the liscence.


If you don't, then you have to buy liscences to use pictures. They are very cheap in adult (compared to mainsteam) . For 10 $ you can get a set.

If someone recognises a picture from his content store and you haven't paid for it, then yes, he will get mad. There are content providers that sell single images, so it's better for you to buy the photo you are thinking of using.
