My dog has gone under the knife
 

My poor boy is having his testes whacked off as we speak. :(

HIs prostate was acting up, and they said this would relieve it...hope so...I've had him almost 12 years now and hope for atleast a few more.

Poor guy, hope he has a quick recovery.

He's having his teeth cleaned too...they might have to pull one..last time they did it took him out for the entire day...but he rebounded quickly after that.

Oh god, I hope they don't do this to me when my prostate starts acting up.

awww....I know how you feel. Mine just had bladder surgery not to long ago! Get him a new bone for a treat.

I'm all paranoid they're going to switch the tags or something and I'm gonna get a call and say they accidentally put him down...if that happened you'll see a crazy white man on the news going on a vet killing spree.

having volunteered at a no-kill animal shelter for a year i can tell you that most vets recommend spay/neuter for more than just reproductive reasons. this is a fairly common occurrence in male dogs. :(

hope he's up and around chasing squirrels soon. :)
