    how i went from rags to riches...

    ok.. no BS here


    short version.

    1997 saw show on 48hours date line or something. about a couple in maryland doing cam work in thier bedroom pulling about 1 mil a year.. amateur cam couple.

    told my girl at the time.. we can do that

    invested 3k in some programming, design and content(max candy) at the time

    total failure..

    prettypink.com was the site.

    some shit happend, went to jail(long story) i didnt mean to kill that old lady.. was an acciednt.

    got out of jail... worked at rent a center.. became manager.. sucked. i got fired for calling some bitch that stole 5k worth of the stores furnature a ******.. no joke.

    got back online, hooked up with some guys doing some mailing.. made some quick cash.. started epic in 2001 late may i think..

    spent every dime i had investing into epic.. decided that was taking too long.

    I posted here as a matter of fact looking for a financial backer.

    $6k was the fucking buy in!!!!!!!!!!! LOLOLOL and nobody took me serious except 1 person. he helped out gave me the tools i needed 50/50 deal for 6k buy in...

    and here we are.

                      I remember watching that show myself. I live here in MD and the couple lives not far from my place down at the beach. The site was thewetlands.com. Kind of funny you brought this up - suprised i still remember this.

                                                  I remember in 98 or 99 watching a show about some couple who were both nurses at a big hospital and when word got out that they had a cam site, they both got suspended or fired. Can't remember which, but I think they sued. As soon as the show was over, my exhusband got up, went to the computer, pulled up the site, and joined it so we could see it. And I got the same line - "Hell, we look better than them. We could do that."

I have a friend who's exhusband kicked in both doors to her house, broke two windows out, told the next door neighbor he'd gut him with a pocket knife, and then jumped up on the hood of her car in the parking lot of an Applebees, with the two of us sitting in it, and kicked the windshield in with his foot.

                                                              I think he had to pay for the damage, court costs, and talk to some court counselor for about 45 mins, and that was it. I don't think anybody goes to jail here for breaking stuff.
