WTF? I bought some sets there, and they have high quality pics. But all people are talking like shit about them?

They sold the email list of customers to acacia . EVERYBODY that bought content off them in a certain period got a letter from Acacia in their mail.

Badmouthing Matrix came from the rumour about our webmaster list being given to Acacia. Matrix has never sold our list to anyone. These rumours stem from people who cannot compete fairly, and chose to badmouth as their marketing campaigns. Regardless of whether you sold your list or whether it was stolen or whatever heppened, you are not telling the truth about it only being people who have something to gain who think you did it.

Many of your customers believe you sold them out. Do a search on GFY. Do you think every person who posted about it was out to get you?

I emailed all my the people on my list to see who had been approached by Acacia. Too many came back with the story that the information Acacia had used could only have come from Matrix as it was coded in a non obvious way. Many of these people are not frequenters of the boards.

So it's not proof but just an indication or where the list came from.

One thing is sure though, you have always got the chance that a licensee will sell out your information to Acacia. These people signed up purely on a business decision based on their own good and not that of the industry or others in it. So who can guaranty they did and will not ever give up their mailing list.

Acacia were licensing for 2% of the gross turn over, well let's say someone was offered 1% or only 2% of the Video turn over, would that be worth giving up your mailing list? Remebering it's all about business, a purely business decision. Morals and ethics do not enter into the equasion, only the bottom line.

What you can say is your information is safer with the people who are fighting than those who signed.

Therefore, the comment was not implying everyone is out to get Matrix, it is only that people prolonging the falsehood probably have another agenda. Where's lil2rich4u2 at? He's the one that had screenshots of a mispelling of his name that he used to log in to your site to poke around. The same mispelling that he received on his Acacia packet. He's not a content producer.

Ha ha ha, whatever. Then your database needs to be more secure then. I find it particularly funny that 1. I don't run any movie sites but still recieved the letter. 2. The way the address and name was printed on the envelope/letter from acacia was EXACTLY the way it was when I signed up to matrix content (certain misspellings). I have nothing to gain by putting matrix down, and have never actually bought content from matrix.

When I gave my info to Matrix, I was a bit intoxicated and made a slight mistake on my mailing address. This address was the same one that Acacia sent the letter to. There is absolutely no doubt at all where that information came from. If anyone ends up getting taken to court for libel, I will be more than happy to provide the proof to the defendant.

You guys claimed no one provided proof which is BS.. my proof is as good as it gets and then you try to blame the registar (which was registryfly) It's funny how I have about 80 domains with them and the only one Acacia ever got their hands on was to domain I used at your site. A crappy .net name with no site on it.

There are many people accusing us of selling our list...their proof? They either mispell their own names, make mistakes on their own mailing address, or were even intoxicated while signing up to our site. These are obviously sound business people and reliable sources in whom you should place your trust.
We have faithfully and professionally served the adult industry since 1999, and Matrix will continue producing the highest quality content found on the net. Our faithful clients have the majority of top sites on the net, and the mutual trust established will allow our webmasters to make money for many years to come.

Some of us do this PURPOSELY to know which sponsors/content providers/etc... are selling/giving to acacia/etc... our information. This is good business practice on our end so we know who not to do business with and the fact stands that the info I used to sign up with to check out your content was the EXACT same info used in the shit I recieved from acacia. I'm glad to say that so far I've only had problems with 1 sponsor and 1 content provider. Guess who the content provider is????????

Why do you always ignore my proof? Mine was not a mispell or any of your other excues's. Is it because I'm just a nobody with a few tgps so I carry no weight in the industry? So you can get away with it?

My case was very cut and dry.. I owned about 50 domains at the time I got my Acacia letter. I called Acacia and asked them how I was in violation, They told me *****.net was breaking their patent rules. The really funny thing is *****.net was nothing just a name I bought and never used, it was a 404 (this page can not be displayed). The funny thing was I had so many domains and that was the only Acacia had.

I logged into all my accounts even other content stores and checked them all. The only place that domain showed up was at Matrix. I then contacted Matrix because at that time they were like "help us prove it was our list so we can find out what's up".

When I called Matrix they claimed it was the registars fault, that the registars sold them the lists of all domains with adult keywords. That's kinda funny because my name in question had the keyword "sex"in it. Well I just happened to buy 2 domains on the day I bought the name in question. Both with the keyword "sex". On top of that within 1 week either before or after that date, I had also bought names with adult keywords.. Now my domain list is around 80 probally atleast half of them have adult keywords.. Yet how many dose Acacia have?

only one ... But I know it must have been a fluke.. the Acacia trolls must have been searching for adult keyword sites that were 404's
