Unix command quick question

what is the unix command to remove a directory that is not empty?

Joetanto 03-15-2004 11:39 AM

rm -rf you must be using a windows ftp program if you can not delete a dir that has files in it

ssh - rmdir

use -r (recursively) if you want to remove all directories in the folder.

Just remember that rm is very powerful and does not ask you for confirmation. You want to make absolutely sure that you use it at the right directory :1orglaugh
