The Spitzer Space Telescope has sent back stunning images, including this one of a star formation region.

The object -- about 10 billion kilometers from Earth / still abit of a trip then :glugglug

KraZ 03-15-2004 08:11 AM

They could be a race of snowmen.

.... and they want our carrots.

Vic Lagina 03-15-2004 08:16 AM

There's question as to whether this object should be deemed a planet. Recently, Pluto's classification as a planet has been questioned due to its small mass.

Temp on this object is 400 degrees below Farenheit, so nothing could survive there.

Nice there's probably a lot of more planets in solar system too!

kowntafit 03-15-2004 09:06 PM

Planets that are even further away aren't that exciting. Especially when we haven't even made it to the closest ones yet.

Gotta love Bush.......

The administration of former President Bill Clinton (news - web sites) signed the Kyoto Protocol, but President Bush (news - web sites) withdrew the U.S., which currently emits about 25 percent of the world's greenhouse gases, from negotiations over Kyoto's implementation.

reynold 03-15-2004 10:41 PM

...that would be the tenth planet...
