Not sure what this means with regard to playboycash.

I guess we'll find out though.

Go get your patents written boys... the business model has been validated.

ICS Inc. (Adult.com, GFY, Playboycash, etc) was hit with a lawsuit on 12/18/2003.

No word on whether they would fight or settle. Other companies that got hit with the same lawsuit have joined (ie. National A-1) and there are more being added to the Defense Group.

For those thinking this way, here's an article I wrote months ago satirizing the lessons learned from Acacia in pursuing your own patent (abuse) licensing scheme:

Nice to see you still keeping up on this stuff.

Tell me, do you know what the paypal address is for those that want to donate to the IMPA? I would like to post it in a few places if possible.

As for Lensman's 3 companies, as an affiliate I am ready to donate some money to a defence fund if it comes to that. I'm sure his other 5-zillion affiliates would also kick in. Strength in numbers and all that.

i read the yahoo article and it said that it includes audio/video streaming including cable, internet, and satellite. I hope they go after comcast or directv, and i also hope that they won't settle and actually push them into the court room.

These people have no idea how big of a can of worms they are opening. It will interesting to see if the it was a business decision, holds up when they have to license to 15 different companies who have patents on assorted bullshit. If they think this is the only one they are fooling themselves.
