Just not fair
My friend said to becareful about who u do business with if payments are by paypal. He did someone a service. He fixed up someone's database of sites, and got paypaled $200 for the job. Then a few days later that person informed paypal saying that he never got the service done and wanted a refund. So he got a fraud notice and the money was taken from his account and refuned to the other guy. So basically he got screwed. Does this happen often. My friend said it might been because it was an adult business transaction, which arent allowed.

so if someone sends someone $5 who they met at GFY to write a few descriptions then their account might get cancelled.
|
sucks
|
The same would be true if the payment was made on a credit card! anyone can charge back! it's not Paypals fault!
The only true way to be safe is to get paid via cashiers check! |

Why is it that your allowed to get paid by paypal thru sponsors like ARS or Topbucks but not allowed to do an adult transaction. Whats the difference between those

you are not allowed to sell adult products via Paypal |
|
yeah, i recommend he do some contacting about that. sucks to be in that situation
|
ok so. You cant sell adult products like (memberships to adult sites, toys, dvd's, etc) but you can get paid for doing a service that involved something which is related to an adult site. Like doing a logo for someone who owns an adult site.
