Spammers & Scammers - WFT?
 

Lots of posts on the board right now about people getting ripped off by others. WTF?

Half the people posting here are scammers...or spammers.

Yeppers - can't hardly trust anybody in this industry that's for sure. Sad but true :(

I've met a handful of really great people from this industry - the rest have been real dickheads. You REALLY have to be careful who you get in bed with - it may come back to haunt you :ugone2far

Probably 80% of the ones complaining for not getting paid were breaking the rules of the programs :thumbsup

Yea - but it's confusing because most of the sponsor programs claim in their rules that they don't sleep with spammers etc..etc..etc. - but you know as well as I do - that they do. Who is scamming who?

Programs cheat and people cheat! it's fucked!:feels-hot

I guess they have to have it in their TOS but I agree that most won't put a heavy spammer down when it makes them some nice $$$.

Yes - exactly my point. And then one day out of the clear-blue.... the sponsor changes their mind and decides not to pay the spammer when he is owed sometimes thousands and thousands of dollars and they also shut down his account. Nice convenient way for the sponsor to pocket some quick cash huh???

Hey, I hate spammers as much as the next guy, and I have reported more than my share of them to sponsors for spamming me with their bullshit, but if this part of the industry is ever going ot get cleaned up, these sponsor programs need to get off their ass and start setting good examples for the rest of the folks.

No wonder we are seeing more and more people posting here that they are getting ripped off these days. If you stay in this industry, prepared to get scammed. If you are doing business with trustworthy people - people that you can trust, count your blessings and your lucky stars. It's getting more and more difficult to find those kinds of people in this business....in these times.
