Taking The Day Off
 

Am I the only one that no matter what if I am away from my computer, I am constantly thinking about ideas and what not? Hard to actually "get away." etc...

I never really take the day off.

But I think im gonna today

yeah man, good idea, get outside or somehting, get away from all the boxes, box monitor, box tv, box house, box rooms, get outside and chill...My eyes are dying I'm ganna do the same...

Now that I have the year rolling right, I am going to start taking more time off. I get more done and am much happier when I take at least one full day off from work every week..

You should take the day off by smoking a lot, drinking a lot, and posting on GFY a lot!

Everyone deserves a day off. Get some rest , it sounds like you need it badly.

I havent taken a day off in 3 years by that logic.

But just not being on a comp for an hour is a vacation to me. JUST so long as I have a notepad with me.

I've got no problem when i go out drinkin' with my mates or go see a movie. I just forget about work completely. But shit, whenever i finally get to bed, i can't get the shit out of my mind. Ideas ideas ideas. Pretty fucking annoying actually, especially 'cause i have to get up to write shit down.

Fletch XXX - I feel your pain. I work out of an office now. Keeps for some separation from home / work life.

Of course, I'm lucky cause the CJ guys give me a desk over there for writing a homepage for them every week - which I enjoy doing anyway.
