Jellyfish, like their kinsmen the starfish, have neural networks -- their nervous system is distributed throughout their entire body. However, compared to us, jellyfish live in a simple world -- jellyfish rely on their chemical senses (similar to our sense of taste) to detect food or bad stuff in their watery environment.
So, they are kind of like surfers I guess
