New Domain already spidered
Purchased a new domain. Before I bought it, I did a search on the SE and it wasn't listed.
Since buying it, it became listed. When I take a look on google to see who is linking to the site, no one is, so I'm not sure how it is already in google and yahoo. Any thoughts. |
This just happened to me too.
How weird |

It is weird...can't say I'm complaining as it's already saved me some work, just curious how it happened.

If you linked it to another one of your sites that gets spidered often that would do it.

Same here... no traffic, no backlinks, "new" domain that has never been registered before, yet I got spidered right away.:helpme

I read somewhere that the way they get you listed is if you were on your own page, then go to another website, you show up in the referer logs of the other site.
Google then includes the domains that it finds in these logs and spiders them. |
google's done that to me before on one or 2 new domains
