Waiting on SEGuru refund
 

I signed up with SEGuru on Feb 24th, the sites hadn't been updated since Feb 12th.

I asked about an update, he said there would be one the next couple days.

After a couple days I asked for a refund, its been a couple weeks now and they are ingoring my emails and icq's.

Do you think I will ever see a refund or are they just gonna rip me off?

it's not whining.. I waited over two weeks for a refund. I could just chargeback but would rather just deal with them instead of running to paypal.

If they aren't going to update their service, no point in taking new member.

a few weeks ago he mentioned they had a flood a couple months ago or something so the site wasnt being updated.. but thats not really my problem, they should just refund me or and quit taking new members until its back to 100%.

ya i got a refund after emailing them and posting on gfy... I got a refund cause there site sucks.. WARNING DO NOT SIGNUP. YOur wasting your money. I'd be shocked if they had any recurring members....

The only reason I did not c/b is that I am too lazy to call Visa.

yeah one of my guys wanted to get some PR4, PR5, etc domains..

The homepage touts all sorts of available domains, like right now it says there are six PR6 domains.. so anyways you signup and there ain't shit available. The part that pissed me off was the site hadn't been updated in over 2 weeks. Who knows if its been updated since.

All these domain sites are a scam.. its either free shit you can find elsewhere or lists of crappy domains that the people that own these sites have taken all the best ones out of already. ;)

Only money in it is setting up your own and getting some suckers to pay you for a glimpse at it.

I was doing this way back in 2000, spidering the yahoo directory every day and watching for good domain drops. It's seriously played out right now, but it was a 500k / year biz for me in 2000/2001

Practically everything is free if you know where to look or how to get it. Not all of these sites are scams. People put a lot of work into building these and deserve to be paid for the effort as well as the convenience it provides you, if you are a domain buyer. You can't really know what you are talking about because you made this statement "crappy domains that the people that own these sites have taken all the best ones out of already". The best names end up back-ordered months in advance, before the domain even expires. They end up in highest-bidder auctions at places like Pool or Namewinner or through private registrars who sell their bandwidth for high costs. Anyone spidering yahoo daily is wasting their time.

alot of you cowards accuse ppl of scams without know the FACTS you say one thing that may discredit a company or smaller organisation i hope when then owner gets here he proves you guys wrong i hope some of you then get sued for LIBEL comments

I was doing that in 2000/2001, if you care to read and comprehend the WHOLE post this time. There really wasn't much backordering going on back then. ;)

Now every idiot with 50 bucks and an internet connection is in the domain backorder business it seems.. good luck with it Brujah!
