META TAGS: can they be too long?
 

Just working on a porn star site and was wondering if inputting a whack of names is a good or bad idea. Do SE's frown on shitloads of terms, even if they're unique and relevant?

All of the SE's worth optimizing for ignore meta tags all together.

Meta tag spamming may have worked in '91 pal, but it's all about link pop these days

keyword: 1,000 characters

Do not use meta...it is old idea to work with SE.

There's not much I can do about getting quality links right now as I'm new and my site will reflect that, so that leaves me to concentrate on the little things that I CAN manage, which at this point is META tags. ;)

WOuld too long a tag HURT a ranking, though?

This is a really cool free tool (all online) that checks meta tags and keyword density, etc.. totally rocks..
