Man, thanks for listing my gallery. I knew if I kept trying, one of these days he would list me.

It paid off, end of the day and got 35 signups just from my 1 gallery.

I made 75 signups with my hun gallery and didnt even put in a banner or textlink

First time we got listed on the Hun we made $1k on the first day in position 20.

Last time we got listed last week in about the same position we made $30.00.

When was the first time you got posted, how long ago?

what you are doing now doesnt seem to work for you

maybe if you put more time into making galleries and not just making the same as others you may have done better

November 2002 - the sponsor did not have trials at that stage

The last time was with a sponsor who had a $9.95 trial but the sale came off a sponsor on the money bar on the full page ad we filtered the traffic through - that sponsor had a $1.99 trial.

by your own ommission you are doing things wrong currently.

maybe you have not adapted to the current market? or you haven't had an open mind to try selling other things. im not sure thats probably a question only you can answer and remember be honest , well at least for yourself

Were the two sponsors in generally the same niche? I mean thats quite a reversal between listings. Did this sponsor who performed poorly perform well on any other traffic/listings?

Back in November 2002 the sponsor we used was relatively new and the niche we posted the gallery for was very under-exposed at that time.

A similar gallery was subsequently posted on Sleazy Dream and we made a similar amount of money.

The most recent gallery was also for a less exposed niche and the advertising was as aggressive as the Hun currently allows.

It was our first real try with that sponsor.

Shit, I'll be happy to get half that. So far Richards-Realm and Thumbzilla traffic hasn't been too productive for me, maybe I need to design the galleries different or something. Or hire someone, any suggestions?

A hun listing presents many opportunities to convert and looks like you made a healthy profit.

You must have had the perfect tgp storm:

Say you got 200,000 gallery hits, which is a lot even for a hun listing...

Then lets say you had a wet dream and got 7% CTR... which is a lot for TGP...

Then you would have to do 1:400 to get 35 signups.

Certainly possible, and fucking impressive if true.
