tgp webmasters - please read!
 

ever since ars came up with the console free option, i always ALWAYS used it. i get paid less, but this kept me within the rules of most tgps.

tonight ars made a change - all byot and paysite traffic that used to go to the GIM sites is now being redirected to platinumbucks sites - with their long console chain. my shemale traffic, btw, is being directed to a general porn movie site.

i wanted to ask tgp webmasters not to blacklist those of us who unfailingly took a lower payout so we'd have no consoles. i know a few people who did this on EVERY gallery - i'm not the only one. and now popups are coming off our sponsor sites, but it's not our fault, and not in our control.

i guess from now on the only way to link to sponsors will be through a redirect page, which is too bad 'cause we won't have stats showing where our sales came from.

damn...sucks.

why don't you just change the links?

because some of these are galleries with hard links, and the second the tgp scripts see the pages change, they remove the galleries - and often blacklist you if there are too many.

that would be true but most of the byots didn't offer fpa's, nor did the ars fpa's that i tested sell very well. from now on, every sponsor will go through a redirect page (unless i'm using their content) so i can change it when needed.

too bad - i've never needed to do anything like this in all these years till now :-(

very true, but I can only think of about 5 guys I know who do that, and none of them submit TGP galleries to my sites

I know I am not blacklisting submit partners over stuff like this - hell, I have to kill a few hundred gallery links, myself

I hate approving galleries linking to fpa's unless I know the webmaster, too easy to redirect the traffic to bad things.

Make your own FPAs. It's not rocket science. I have shown everyone on this baord how to do it a few months ago. Do a search for it. It's really simple to do and it's effective at recycling traffic.

That's a risk you'd have to take I guess, I usualy always try to use FPAs. Just makes more sense. Good for filtering unproductive TGP surfers and for recycling traffic to something they just may like better through links on the FPA. I would never reject a submitter for using an FPA.. in fact, I encourage they do.

no, it's NOT rocket science. however till now it was not necessary, and quite frankly, i'd rather send direct to a site that looks like a winner. so redirects will do best for that.
