Heya guys
what do you know about this device ? what happened to the "trully world of games" ? I would like to purchase some system for my lil brother , just browsed yahoo and ended up with stuff of early nineties. :helpme

Never panned out, I played one in the early 90's, was fun, way to expensive to be purchased because you are stuck playing one game that looks like polygon shit, not to mention todays games on the flat screen look good enough anyway. Just spend that cash on an awesome sound system and a huge screen and it will be money better spent. Plus more games to choose from.

VR is mostly used by for medical stuff now, it is too expensive for the masses..

a good VR helmet will run you back close to 10k, top of the line(the ones they use in the apache helicopters) go way beyond that.
but the fucked up shit is the tactile stuff.. The gloves with the exoskeleton to simulate hard objects, and tactile simulators can run you back up to 55k per glove..

and then you need something to do with all this fun stuff, which there sure as hell isn't much, so you really end up wasting your money as there aren't really large amount of simulations or games made for this kind of equipment

I beg to differ with the "nothing to do."

We make an outstanding Virtual Reality Sexual Simulation system which we will be also expanding into the realm of Games at some point.

However, you are right about one thing. It needs a "Killer app." Which we have.

i have onetime VR help on my head. that was very good to play DUKEN NUKEN 3D. you only need to turn your head to see what muthants are neer to you. i wanna it, too.

buy him some simple program to program some his fantasy world.
