which is a damn shame, I really liked this guy - he was a good player, and a real nice story (except for the guns and killing the driver part) - always seemed like a great guy

got drunk, started playing with a loaded gun, shot whitey, then tried to play it off as suicide and put the victim's fingerprints on the shotgun

Ive followed this trial on Court TV have heard PLENTY of testimony.

He is surely guilty.

anyone following the trial can see that.

He has multiple gun offenses, and this is the final draw.

He got drunk, and opped open a crack barrel shotgun, made sure there was no shells in the chamber, then like Val Kilmer in Tombstone, slubng the shotgun up closing the crack barrel, and bam, homie got a shot to the chest.

He dies minutes later watching a bunch of fucking drunk atheletes try and cover up the event.

Imagine laying on the floor dying, and watching people put your figner prints on the gun.

yeah no kidding it was like one of those bad suspense movies where people walk in on a death and instead of calling the cops they touch everything and then convince themselves they need to flee like criminals because they know no one will ever believe them..anyway...stupid mistakes all around....he'll go away for sure on this..they might have gone easier on him if he had just phoned someone and called it in.

or maybe at least attempted to save his life - not that it would have helped, but it would have looked better than to wipe down the gun, put the victim's prints on it, hide your clothes, take a shower, then call in and say he committed suicide

Yeah, he's guilty and it's a shame. If he would have just fessed up to begin with and sincerely apologized, none of this probably ever would have happened. He could have paid off the family in a major way and made things right with them, probably have gotten them on his side, and ended up with probation. He'll go to jail now for his stupidity. And smart move having *another* baby in the middle of all this mess. I guess trotting one kid down to the prison to visit daddy, wasn't enough.
