haven't seen a single episode since moving to the UK. Brain Candy was junk but I used to watch it almost everyday in high school.

The group of actors Chritopher Guest gets together for his films (Spinal Tap, Mighty Wind, Best In show) are fantastic too.

There is a lot of great English comedy teams and shows:

Monty Python
Faulty Towers
The Young Ones
The Black Adder
Mr Bean (original show, not the shitty movie)
Benny Hill
Etc.

...and I love Kids in the Hall! The bird lady at the stip joint! :1orglaugh

Yep, arguably the funniest comedy routine ever. And one of the most famous. Even after all this time, it's hard to find people who haven't at least heard of the "who's on first" routine.

I remember that show... I used to watch it too, although, being in Canada, I saw it quite a long time after it originally aired.

That was the one about the German occupation of France and they were all part of the French Resistance and there were 2 English pilots that would pop out of barrels and fireplaces and stuff and go "allo allo" once every episode.

That was some funny stuff :thumbsup

Axeman 03-12-2004 01:45 AM

Monty Python, SCTV and kids in the hall.

skrog 03-12-2004 01:49 AM

The Chappelle Show :thumbsup

pimplink 03-12-2004 01:55 AM

3 stooges! and I like Rowan Atkinson.
