5 hours playing Super Nintendo?

Damn you Fuzebox. LOL.
He mentioned in a thread he played donkey kong on zsnes when he lost his train of thought.

Then I was like "Woah I should bust out my snes!!" then I remembered you could just get the emulator and roms of the games you own anyways. Nice :)

So I got Chrono Trigger.

Now for those of you who missed out on your childhood or are still in it, this is a game for you. Any RPG fan will agree. Good story lots of fun.

Now damnit I really should not be playing games right now but you know what? Too god damn addicting. I think I will get Secret of Mana next.

Hardcore.

Don't do it man...

I remember downloading Secret of Mana 2 years ago... That was a loooong weekend with no sleep :arcadefre

BradM 03-11-2004 02:34 AM

Hahaha you're right I shouldn't.
I don't think I will be playing it anymore at this point... too much.

And no my eyes don't swell. 7 years in front of a monitor for 12 hours a day +.. well that sort of trains your eyes a bit.

I recently dug out my old snes for my kid, he loves it! Tuesday he was off school sick and we spent 10 hours playing on it!

SNES is awesome. You should download Bust-A-Move. That game is addicting as hell.

I just finished playing Zelda: A Link to the Past on my SNES...then I got nostalgic and busted out the Genesis to play Shining force, and my NES to play the original Zelda. Its amazing how fun the classics still are today, even without the eye candy of the current systems.

EXACTLY! Sometimes I think with all the crap eye candy we lost something along the way. OH right... like a story line and a REASON for the game to exist other than quick sales

zzgundamnzz 03-11-2004 02:50 AM

If your into RPGs never ever play Ogre Tactics for the SNES. Its EVIL! Spent countless hours playing that game... then when I finished that I started playing Der Langrisser.

Thats why the SNES was King :thumbsup

I think its a tie for me between that and Meridian 59, an online RPG from the early 90s that no one really played, but started the current mmorpg craze.

Zelda is the only reason I have my SNES to this day. I probably end up playing it all the way through at least once a year
:thumbsup

Ash@phpFX 03-11-2004 03:03 AM

kowntafit 03-11-2004 03:09 AM

5 hours is a nice effort.

leg4 03-11-2004 03:18 AM

We used to play Tecmo Super Bowl on the nintendo for like 48hour+ at a time

Vitasoy 03-11-2004 06:05 AM

The snes is by far the best system made, I could play SF2 all day if I wanted to... that game just rocked :)
