Digital camera recommendations (under $700).
 

I am looking to get a digital camera and wanted to get your guy's opinions.

I don't need this for content. I just want to have a good camera.

Get the best sony you can get for 700 .. I've had like 15 cams and sony are always the one standing after couple months and their menu are simple and easy :)

I like Minolta Dimage Xt. Very small and nice photos!

Canon S50. Best fucking digital ever.

Dimage A1. Just got one myself. I cant believe the image quality, flexibility, and features. Its a nice one for certain.

Do you want a simple point and shoot, or something with alot of manual control ?

How important a factor is size?

Do you want a pocket cam you can take to the bar or carry in your pocket, or a weekender/family camera ?

What kind of pics do you want to take with it? Sports, casual ?
