I am selling my 18.1" Sony LCD flatscreen monitor.

I just got this monitor about 3 months ago, if that. I'm selling it because I have fallen in love with a 21" Sony CRT that I'm going to be buying this weekend.

Here's my auction on eBay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=2792967171

So you prefer an CRT to an LCD. When i tried my LCD I couldnt never go back to CRT. Like the saying
ONCE YOU GO LCD, YOU NEVER GO BACK

Sosa 03-10-2004 10:09 PM

I love my Viewsonic 21" CRT, kinda weird working on laptop right next to it though.

Illicit 03-10-2004 10:21 PM

nice lcd !

why do colors always look different between lcd and crt ?
everything always looks nicer on an lcd

Turboface 03-10-2004 10:37 PM

Ya, this is a kick-ass monitor and wouldn't even be selling it if I hadn't found this 21" Sony recently.

liquidmoe 03-10-2004 10:41 PM

I got my new Dell 20" LCD and I'm loving it, very small borders on the edges, nice screen real-estate, wondering how I ever did without 1600x1200 resolution. Those who know, know :winkwink: :thumbsup

mike503 03-10-2004 10:42 PM

i like flat CRT's.

i've always been critical of LCDs until recently, now that response rate is finally getting good.

Illicit 03-10-2004 10:42 PM

how much to ship it to 02739 ?

that resolution is way to high for me... Ive got a 21" sony at work.. I like it at 1024x768, once in a great while I will up it if I need to see alot of things at once, but I hardly ever need to do that.

chowda 03-10-2004 10:45 PM

i wonder how much it can go for?

how big is the laptop screen ? that must be nuts

X-Wing 03-10-2004 10:47 PM

Nice monitor you got there, I need to get some of those soon.

iwantchixx 03-10-2004 10:53 PM

I preffer CRT. Why? Can't scratch glass all that easily. Even when a CRT is dirty it still looks crisp. LCD has low recovery rate. Meaning, pixels take longer to "shut off". Ever play a fast paced game or action flick on LCD? Not pretty is it?

reynold 03-10-2004 11:22 PM

Man, good luck to you

Turboface 03-11-2004 03:08 PM

bump.

rjstar 03-11-2004 03:10 PM

1024x768 on a fucking 21"?!

That's horrible!

I used to run 1024x768 on the 10.4" screen on my sony vaio.

Anything smaller than 1600x1200 on a 21" is a waste of the monitor.

pimplink 03-13-2004 02:38 AM

its looks nice and good.. i wish i had that too.

Mr. Marks 03-13-2004 02:50 AM

I hope you'll sold it in a good price.

Krille 03-13-2004 03:01 AM

I'll trade you some short uins for it

schiz 03-13-2004 03:06 AM

Wow. That retails over $700.

Kicker 03-13-2004 03:16 AM

At first I thought it would be a bit much, but that feeling last for all of about 5 minutes. Now I'm thoroughly used to it and I can't imagine using anything smaller. Even a good 18" LCD just doesnt compare, especially if the borders are large.

Firehorse 03-13-2004 03:22 AM

Nice monitor. We are replacing all our monitors atm going for 21 inch flat screens. We are anxiously waiting for the 30 inch flat screen that Apple will be selling in Australia soon! :thumbsup

Indeed. I am still using CRT, but the new LCD's are pretty sweet.
