Sponsor calls me to say no more rebills!!!!!!!!!!
Hello..i had a wild call this morning from a very big sponsor..one that has many programs..many of which i have promoted for many yrs. almost 7 yrs now..and have done very well for them over the yrs..both as an affiliate, consultant, and referrer of other webmasters.....basically..the call was this...if i don't send them more traffic to a particular site of theirs..one of many again, that i promote..that they are going to de-activate the account..and stop paying me for the rebills i have from the sales that i sent months prior!!!..has any one ever had a sponsor do this?? im blown away by this...his reasoning is that because im not sending that site traffic any longer, that its a drain on them to cont. to pay me on the rebills!!!!...im like..what?????...and to keep this in perspective...i do send alot of traffic to other sites with in there program...and they know this...any way..im curious if a sponsor has ever called any one to tell them that they are going to stop paying them the rebills thay have comming!!????...and no..no place in the tos/faqs does it say that if u dont send enough traffic, we will stop paying you on the rebills......id like to know if im off base on this..or if this is common?? i mean i run a program myself...and i cant imagine telling my webmasters that i wont be paying them there rebills due to a decrease in there traffic to me!!!!...i mean..how long am i going to be in bussiness!!!!....im open to any feed back any one may have...thanks

who was it????? |
who was it, stop beating around the bush!
Obviously a very dumb program owner if you are still sending signups to their other sites.
i'm guessing the program either ends in bucks or dollars or cash.
Wrong. Expose them.
its drama time... who is the jackass ?

Thats fucked up. Expose them, drop them, and hope everyone else does. DatingGold recurring pays you on rebills for life. You send the fucker and he stays 5 years, whether you keep sending traffic or not, you get paid.
Is this for real? :1orglaugh
And if it is, go ahead and out them. It's your only hope.:Graucho |

this thread is useless with no names..
if this is true i would stop sending them traffic and signups right now and redirect to an honest sponsor.
fuckers that do things like this should be hanged by the ball and you should really tell us who this is so they don't fuck us in the ass the same way |

Hello...naming them at this point would be totally wrong, my request was, if this had ever happened to any one else..and to see if any one else had received any calls...the sponsor in question is NOT I REPEAT A SPONSOR that any one has guessed about on this thread...if at any point i feel that the benefit to the to webmaster community in general will better served by outing them..i wil...but at the moment..if im the only one who got called...maybe im the only one...see my point...im hoping that the "deactivation pitch" he gave me was to motivate me to send that site more traffic...and with out realizing what he did...he %$^&* up... i have promoted them for over 7 yrs...so that tells you something....up to this morning...they have been top shelf..treated me very well..so im thinking maybe it was an over aggressive new marketing manager trying to make points for the boss and the company...
tell them to fuck off and pay or else.... :321GFY
Show them this thread, i bet that will help the owner understand he is on the wrong site.
hmm... i still.. havent. figured out... why people feel the need... to type.. like this...?!? it makes their....post quite.. difficult to read.
Especially since they don't even break them up into paragraphs.
I read about 2 lines of that before I had to go get some Excedrin for my headache. |
you've been punk'd!

Dude you need to call them out:helpme

First be sure it wasn't a prank, if it is not then EXPOSE them.
You definitely need to get a lawyer.
probably fake
Would like to know who
You have to post the sponsor name, if you are the first or someone else has been blackmailed before you it doesnt make difference
Post it:warning

Overall, fishing around and asking who else 'got the call' is not the point here. The point is they called YOU. You, who have promoted them for what, 6 years you said? You would think a sponsor like that would be treating you like gold.
I'm curious though. Was this someone in the company such as the owner who called you, or just some new sales guy? Perhaps someone is getting a little overly aggressive in the sales department when he/she shouldn't be? If it's some sales guy, you should phone the owner immediately or someone in upper management and report this person. Quote:
The point IS now. You got the call, you got the proof first hand. What more do you need? And yes, it IS important and 'beneficial to all webmasters' because nobody wants to send traffic to a sponsor that will end up fucking them over anyway, or phone them with threats of doing so. As if worrying about Visa/MC or other important industry matters isn't bad enough these days. Now we have to worry about rebills and/or threats to? Of course it's critical to know who it is. Either way, do what you feel is best. Hopefully it was just some new sales guy trying to score points. You should call them first thing if it was. Good luck with your situation. |
Did you record the call? We need proof :winkwink:
Without the sponsor name you are just another attention whore talking shit because your mother didn't hug you enough :2 cents:
The bad news is it is a no win. You can't send more traffic as you are throwing good traffic after bad.
Go over his head and see what they say otherwise you have to drop this sponsor. Revshare without rebills is worthless. |
Who was it that called you?
if this is for real, its bullshit, if they do not pay you what you are owed, make it public on this board and take legal action to get what is rightfullly yours
call him back and say your going to post there info here..
then see what happens. |
