looking for full time graphic artist/web designer

I tried adultoutsourcing.com and didn't have a very good experience. Are there any other outsourcing firms that have a good rep or anyone on the board looking for some longer-term work?

Mostly doing mainstream banners, brochures/PR material, and web site enhancements.

Drop your email address and I can get back to you or leave me an ICQ.

in most cases u will loose while taking someone fulltime off the house
because people usually works on several companies trying to get maximum of cash
better find some one to work on per project basis

there plenty of cheap and talanted designers here:thumbsup

I've done a lot of per-project work, but i've decided that I end up wasting too much time looking through portfolios and picking people for each project individually. Plus they never really learn the business so they have as good of an idea of what we look for, the work turns out very inconsistent whereas we want work to have a consistent brand identity, and we want someone churning out things and not billing us for every little thing they do. There's a million reasons to get someone full-time if you have enough work for them. it's only people with a couple projects that are better off with work for hire.

ding ding ding ding ding.

we have a winner.

ive been offered full time design slots on a few well known programs around here.

Unfortunately, as I had to tell them, I make more on my own, but full time is great for some.

as I have said, I predict more people getting picked up more exclusive as time goes on because of the swarm of designers this industry brings... its bound to happen. Solo guys like me simply get too busy working alone to do more than we can. So the incentive for exclusivity of designers will come to play, watch.

:thumbsup

For people like you Fletch, perhaps the most in demand artist with a great rep, you would make a killing on a per-job basis. Doesn't pay to go exclusive with someone unless they are offering you a fortune.

We're looking for someone with talent who is more up and coming that needs a steady paycheck and to build their portfolio. They still would have time to do other work in their off-time. Also outsourced firms who can dedicate staff on a month to month basis work well, but the talent seems to be very limited. The only firms I know of are adultoutsourcing and xxxoutsourcing.

Outsourcing graphic design is leading to desaster...

...the work turns out very inconsistent whereas we want work to have a consistent brand identity, and we want someone churning out things and not billing us for every little thing they do..

indeed the answer to all of that is to go through the process once, (portfolio shopping, etc...) real good, find someone you like, and do what you gotta do to sign them to an exclusive deal. It puts to rest the endless hours of shopping aggravation, billing for every last little thing, and you get consistency across all of your projects to better establish your brand identity.

personally, I enjoy being exclusive because it removes a ton of burden from myself as well. No billing for every last little thing, no chasing down non-paying clients, no trying to interpret the ideas of 10 different people every day and move from one brand formula to the next..... so yes, there is a lot of incentive for the designer as well.

best of luck in your search... hope you find someone to fill the job. :thumbsup

Ok, dude we got what you need, hit me on icq 19730496

Im working with other guy right now doing all the things you ask for at panchodog.

www.nomeconoces.com/adultdesign/ is my latest works
the other guy does alot of programming (back end shit, php, db, etc..), and he also handles Flash very well along with actionscripting, so if we mix this two you can have a pretty nice shit.

Also since we getting more and more work another web designer is join our team to take care more deeply the projects, so we can help you out, just as long is a long term thing, thats what we are looking for.

Although I prefer to do my own freelance and I have several longtime non-adult and adult customers that keep me busy with some frequency, I have special daily/weekly/ or even monthly rates much lower for contiguous work, like Amp said - it pays to eliminate the hassles of constantly start/stop new projects/clients. But I can't compete with a company like adultoutsourcing, those guys are likely east european/asian and work for much cheaper.

So in case you're checking portfolios anyway, here's mine http://www.sexymojo.com/design if you are interested email me for rates or to work something out.

I also have print experience and illustration and functional script skills which I don't offer or display on my site.

The design of your own site is slick but your design portfolio inside blows. Who designed your site?
