Wanna bet on the leafs NOT winning the Stanley Cup?
 

I am looking to buy myself a new Gigli suit for the summer, so I am willing to take some cah from gullible Leafs fans, which pretty much accounts for their entire fan base.

Now who wants to lose money?

I bet the Toronto Maple Leafs dont win the Stanley Cup.

They might not be the strongest contender in the league, but compared to the last 4 years, they are in one of the best positions to do it.


So if i was to bet the leafs against the past 4yrs leaf's then this year would be the year.

1. Would you mind giving odds? Pretty easy to bet that 1 team will not win the Stanley Cup.

2. Whoever comes out of the Leaf's division will truly be black and blue. Other divisions look fruity compared to this one.

Start a pool. I'll put $100 on the Leafs. You put $100 on Detroit.

Everyone else who has a favourite, put $100 on your team. Whomever picks the cup winner, takes the pool. Teams can only be picked once and if no-one picks the winner, then you keep your money and go buy some beer or something. Everyone has to be in by the end of the regular season.

I assume that any type of pool here would need approval first, and possibly someone in charge to keep everyone honest.

So, I'll put $100 on the Leafs. 15 other teams will make the playoffs. Anyone in? There has to be an Avs or Devils fan ready to jump all over this.
