any idea where I can rent content per user per day?

Actually we are working on such a system 'cause someone here in office got this idea here one day.

But I am curious that we are the first...are we?

I wanted to peek to some other systems 'cause we have some logistical problems with making it easy for webmasters configuring their own members area fast.

But with about half a million pictures and countless vids it is not so easy to create an acceptable user interface...:arcadefre

You could order custom - the rent for the first day is pretty steep but then it gets all the way to ZERO :)

you rent content, mix your own members area, choose the design template and when a customer of yours come, and only then, you pay. the user can return the whole day and watch the all the content you configured and you pay only once - for this day.

normaly you pay for the whole month but most users are not logged in every day - but you know that already I guess.

our system is not ready today with all the automatic stuff and realtime statistics. we must set up most things manually in these days but for the webmaster it works.

Make the content links, thumbs, and description available via xml or some other query-able interface so we can build our own user interface to it, THEN I would be a buyer.

It sounds very much like the lease gallery we are planning. We will be charging for bandwidth so if no one looks you pay nothing.

good idea but almost impossible to do.

first of all: the user tracking is extremly difficult.
we are experimenting with active-x controls but I am not happy with that solutions.

but there are other problems: if you got only a small content with few (thousends) pics it would be possible to make a database with detailed descriptions about every photo you got.
but then it is not very seducing to buy as long it is not very very very exclusive but than it is very very expensive.

if you provide your webmasters with several 100000 pics you must buy content from different sources but there is no defined standard for descriptions of the pics.

porn business is not very organized in that things...

So if there is a XML-Interface....ya but let me think about it for some days...

Yes it can be.

But I see you are producing exclusive content and in that case it would be nonsense.

It is only possible if you provide a huge amount of photos...I would say 'bigger is better and too much is just right'.

And you need something more behind the content.
We are developing a whole system which gives the webmaster the possibility to create their own rich filled members area within minutes.

We have no problem when webmasters will buy only what they need for the day - it is fair.
