when i went (in '87, '91, and '93), you had to pay $10 US to get out too.

yeah theres a $500 border tax to get across the mexico border.... that only when you're on the other side and arent a us resident and want a guy to smuggle you in under the hood of his car.

Its 20$ and its called an FMT, its a tourist card, its hard to leave the country without it. Its usually included in the price of your ticket and you fill it out on the plane, they wont let you in the country without it. :winkwink:

I've been to Cancun, and I took a plane, they didnt come collect money from everyone as we flew over the border
