riosluts 03-08-2004 09:56 PM

If you got ADSL or Cable turn the modem off and on and resetyour IP. This might actually work, i had similar problems to yours.

spentrent 03-08-2004 09:57 PM

"I don't where to find my hosts file, I'm running windows 2000 professional"

C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\ then drag the hosts file into notepad. If you make a change, do save, never save as b/c it'll ad the .txt extension and the hosts file is one of those rare files that doesn't have an extension.
